About

I am an architect and an endurance athlete.  I founded Ingram Architects on Nantucket Island in 2001.  My most recent project, FitSpace, focuses on design concepts for living actively and the creation of environments that support activity and movement.  I’m particularly interested in the intersection of a fit(ness) lifestyle and the design of space, objects and context.  My current FitSpace design project is a new home for a client that is a marathon runner.  The home rethinks traditional relationships of design, flow and function.  We’ve incorporated FitSpace concepts to support the running lifestyle and have worked to provide a beautiful design that suites the whole family.  The house seamlessly incorporates functional interaction to promote strength, flexibility and range of motion.
